    1. It's not likely, that I'll even remember, but, I do assert that you've motivated me to see if I can get the story. I hope to remember to ask. That's all I can do on 5 hours sleep a night, and being swamped with the cool cars everywhere

  3. Fake from the wrong wheels and tires to the backward red/white/blue paint. If you don't know your T/A history, there is a story about Penske and AMC in HOT Rod.

    1. The backward paint is better than the factory ever did. This finally corrected the weird and goofed up factory Blue front, red back factory design. I never could figure out why they rwb from back to front. Anyway, this is close to what any privateer racer would have made in the 70s, and THAT is why it was instantly a eye magnet, and I thought it might be legit from the 70s. The Helldrivers BWR was worse than the AMC BWR, jsut for example of how private racers in the 70s used something close to the factory scheme that Breedlove made famous, but was worse. And as for the story in Hot Rod, yeah, I know, I just posted about that Hot Rod story last week.... if you don't know your JACG history, see http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2016/10/the-dec-2016-issue-of-hot-rod-has-good.html
