FM radio is 2 years away from a drastic change, Noway leads the world in switching off FM broadcasting, and going to DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting)

Digital broadcasting currently offers 22 national channels as opposed to FM's five, and has the capacity to host almost 20 more. The cost of transmitting radio channels through FM is also eight times higher than the cost of DAB transmission, with poor reception and comparitively poor quality.

But what will car makers, and car radio makers do about this? Is DAB something a car radio can pull in and decode? I don't think so.
